Eugene,

Just thought I would drop you a line and tell you what an exciting two years I have had with my Pocahontas Plott hounds, Skeeter and Cole.

I caught my first lion with Skeeter and Cole on December 19th, 2007, and two days before we caught two with the help of Bozz, Ed, and Qweene.  Unfortunately Buzz died later that night after more than 100 lion catches.  Anyway Skeeter and Cole put on a show at the tree; very intense dogs!  Thanks Eugene.

Craig Edwards Cougar
A nice cougar treed in January of 09 by Craig Edwards

I have hunted these dogs from California to Idaho on dry ground and 100 degrees to 3 feet of snow and -35 degrees and they will do it everywhere and every time.  They also have the speed and grit to put a mean bear in a tree and have the brains to out smart an old tom lion through the ledges of southeastern Idaho.  I have had every breed of hound and I have not found any other dogs that could out track, out run, or do anything else better than the Pocahontas Plotts.  I would like to thank Eugene Walker for his time, talent and years spent making this quality of hound.  Thanks.
